Sri Lanka 2048 series comprised 10 one-hour debates on a diverse range of topics related to creating a sustainable future for Sri Lanka.

Of these, eight debates were in Sinhala and broadcast on Sirasa TV. These were moderated and hosted by Kingsly Rathnayaka, a leading broadcast personality and Director General at MTV Channel (Pvt) Limited.

The other two debates were in English, and broadcast on Channel One MTV. They were moderated by Nalaka Gunawardene, an experienced development journalist and Director/CEO of TVE Asia Pacific.
